On May 6, 2025, the Launching Ceremony of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH) 2025 organized by the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City took place at VSIP Hai Phong Industrial Park. This year’s event has the theme: “Strengthening assessment, identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace.”
This is an annual activity of practical significance, aiming to raise awareness and responsibility of organizations, businesses and workers towards ensuring occupational safety and health.
The launching ceremony was held at Maple Company Limited (VSIP Hai Phong Urban, Industrial and Service Area, Thuy Nguyen City) , attended by representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs; Vietnam Association for Science, Technology and Occupational Safety and Hygiene; Institute of Occupational Safety and Hygiene under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; members of the City Occupational Safety and Hygiene Council; leaders of departments, branches, unions and a number of enterprises in the city.
The 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month is an opportunity for stakeholders to act together, build a culture of safety in production and business, and protect human resources – the most valuable asset of every organization and enterprise.
The event was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and units and businesses operating in the area. Representative of the City People’s Committee – Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong delivered the opening speech, calling for the synchronous participation of all levels, sectors and the business community to build a safe and sustainable working environment.
